We love Middle School students, and we’re excited to help them grow in their faith and become better leaders at Camp and great leaders everywhere else they go, too!
Our Activity Assistant program provides Middle School students with:
• A safe, fun, and Jesus-centered place to spend their summer
• Flexible summer scheduling * (So they can participate in Sports, Drivers Ed and Other Activities)
• Leadership and discipleship opportunities with members of our summer staff team
• On-the-go training while at Camp (we encourage attending a 1/2 pre-summer training with our staff)
*The Activity Assistant Program Requires 4 weeks of Attendance
Notes about the program
The Activity Assistant (AA) Program is available for the entire duration of the Camp of Champions USA summer camp program.
The Activity Assistant program is a stepping stone between Camper registration (for children entering 1st-6th grades in Fall 2025) and our paid summer staff members (who must have completed freshman year of high school to apply). For that reason, Activity Assistants (AA) are registered for the program by their parent/guardian and there is a weekly fee for participation in the program.
Registration for the Activity Assistant (AA) program has 3 parts:
Must have previously attended COCUSA, with registration submitted by the parent along with a $15 fee,
Written application and personal references submitted by the student, and
A review of the application and references by the Camp of Champions USA staff prior to acceptance into the AA program.
The AA Program introduces middle school students to leadership and discipleship skills that prepare them for their first job and meet the requirements to join the Camp of Champions USA summer staff team if they choose. As such, we hold all participants in the AA program to a high standard of character, work ethic, and behavior. Repeated instances of violating Camp of Champions USA rules and policies may result in dismissal from the program.
Please contact us if you’re interested in the AA program for your Middle School Student and would like more information regarding our program.
